" I want to thank you, and the Service Department for their efforts yesterday. "Tremendous" is an understatement for these dedicated individuals.
I was hearing a noise, uncertain of what it was and starting from Chris, who wrote the service order, I was assured that they would solve the problem and eliminate the mystery noise. The only uncertainty was if parts were needed, how long it would take for them to arrive.
A little while later, I called (I had forgotten to ask Chris to check the clutch adjustment) and spoke with Joe your mechanic who explained in detail what the problem was and in a way that I could understand. I feel he went above and beyond the scope of his responsibilities by taking a few minutes to speak with me, and that was very much appreciated. Joe was just returning the paperwork for my bike to Chris when I called.
The job was complete.
When I returned to pick up my bike, the clutch was adjusted, and I was overwhelmed by everything being perfect. Chris took the time to go over everything I had requested, and all was complete.
So what is left for me to do? I had to write to you about your people for a job (ALWAYS) well done.
The level of commitment, talents and ability of your staff toward the people they serve is without question the way the rest of American businesses should be run. Customer satisfaction is what I experience each and every time I come Bergen H-D even if it's just for a visit. It would be appreciated if you share this with Chris, Joe, and the rest of your staff.

"I have been a sportsbike rider for the past 10 yrs; I had an itch for a Harley so I stopped by BC H-D to look at used Sportsters. Dave came up to me asked if I had any questions, I said I was just looking around thinking thinking about buying a used Sportster. We chatted I gave him my riding background, he then proceeded to show me a Fat Boy. I was over whelmed with weight of the bike, I then sat on the new 2010 Fat Boy Lo, and I fell in love with the feel of the bike. Long story short, I came back 2 weeks later and purchased my first Harley, a 2010 FAT BOY LO!!!!!!! And of course stopped by the parts and accessories department and Billy hooked my up with all my accessories, including a performance air filter and V&H pipe. NICE!!!!!! He made a very stressful and bad time easier to deal with when my '07 Fatboy was damaged and needed repairing. When everyone else kept telling me that my riding season was over before it even started, Joe reassured me many times that the repairs ($3,000 worth) would take only weeks instead of months to complete. He is top notch and was there for me, answering all of my question's during my countless visit's to the dealership during a very bad time. I just wish all service departments, their personel and service tech's were as great as Joe is and the rest of the guy's at Bergen Harley. Chris & Joe in service every one is great. Short story. with 248 miles on my new bike, the primary chain tensioner blew up. I limped to the shop. JOE AND CHRIS had my bike on a work stand in 10 minutes and inside of 1/2 hour later I knew what the problem was, how it was going to be addressed and when I'd have my brand new bike back. This was on a Tuesday - 4 days after I piked it up. I was riding again by Friday. John was my salesman and was very helpful.
I have had nothing but good experiences with the dealership from the purchase to parts and service.
Unfortunately I was diagnosed with cancer in September of 2006 and have not been able to partake in as many events as I would have liked to but for the few I have I have enjoyed them thoughly from a couple of Saddle UP Saturdays and last year's Freedom Run. Of course it was nice to have won a leather at last year's. I am currently undergoing Chemo Therapy but am hoping to be well enough to ride in this year's Freedom Run. I have been riding over 40 years now and this has been one of my best experiences in all these years. "

"First of I have been riding since I was 15 years old. All makes and models including BMW and Zundapp. Big and small and everything inbetween. My first Harley was a Paterson Police bike purchased at auction FLHP Shovelhead. My new bikes were Harleys from a dealer 65 miles away starting in 1992. Now I,m on my 11 Harley.
I decided to join MVP as I buy lots of accessories. The discount makes a difference and the staff is very friendly and courteous. I had a tire installed on a rim I brought in and couldnt be happier with the service dept. I decided to give the sales dept a chance in taking my pristine 2005 Ultra in trade for a 2008. Surgery kept me off my 2005 for months and as a treat for me I wanted a ABS 2008 Ultra. Not only did the dealer find me that very bike with the colors I wanted, but made the transition for me seamless. I was blown away how nice and professional the staff were. Everyone says hello. EVERYONE! Happy and friendly and it makes me want to return as its a destination for me where I know I will be treated nicely."

"I recently (2 weeks ago) bought a brand new 2008 FLHX Street Glide at Bergen. This was the first brand new motorcycle purchase for me since 1988. Things have changed a bit since then, and since buying a bike is not something I do every day, and is something they (the sales team) do every day, I was glad John & Will had no problems walking me through the process. Overall I was treated with pleasantly and with respect, and everything went very smoothly. I also signed up for the MVP program at the same time, and have already used it several times. The parts dept is also outstanding.....the counter people are knowledgeable, and willing to take the time needed to look up hard to find items, and help you decide what direction you want to go with your bike(s), and what parts would best fit. So far I have not had to use the service dept. but I will soon, and I am sure that the same professional and customer oriented quality personal will be there for me as soon as I need them.

"I was in the showroom and I really don't like sales people for the simple fact they just want to sell you or push you to buy something. But I met David N. and I found the VRSCA I was looking for. The pipes where not what I was looking for but he was able to get that changed My V-Rod sounds much better. (Great Job!!!). I also met Will, we went over the insurance warranty and the bike coverage. I stop along my rides to every Harley Dealership I come across, usually to pick up a shirt or shot glass with the state name on it.I have stopped in about 60 differant Harley Dealerships so far in my lifetime.
I've gotten down as far South as Daytona Beach Harley, and west out to Las Vegas most recently.
However I just have to say one thing; Your store, by far is ALWAYS the most friendly.(Especially Jim Rosko, he is always such a gentleman!) Even if I see a new face in the store they always say hello and offer you a smile!! That is OUTSTANDING customer service!! A+ to everyone there from parts, to clothing, anyone and everyone is always very warm and curtious!

" Excellent experience. Good communications,was called when parts came (twice) due to snow. Was in and out in within days for total amount of work that had to be done. Checked bike going in and made sure it was done right before going out. Tech who did the work even out to see bike leave and made a adjustment to the shifter right in the parking lot. "Working for UPS I
know great service when I see it. My speedometer stopped working on my
ride to work this morning. I diverted to Bergen H-D because I feel this
is a safety issue. I explained to Don and John what happened and they
had Wolfie look at it right away. Wolfie explained that the speedometer
cable, although worn and old was working, but the problem was in the
drive unit on the front wheel. The cable was in stock, but the drive
unit was not. I was already somewhat late for work and without a ride,
John made a call and found the part. Paul picked it up and I was safely
on my way by 10:45.
I appreciate everything your dealership does for me and the HOG
Chapter. You really are my "home" dealership.
